Watercolour: Melting blast

Melting blast

This image comes from an allotment. Someone has planted flowers in their raised vegetable bed, along with actual vegetables. What I was going for is the effect of the most gentle lemon yellow melting into the hyper-white of a cloud lit by the sun. I also was fascinated by the contrast between the harsh light and the deep shadows.

Please note that gray lines in the middle of the painting are not defect, they are a copyright watermark stamp.
